Brugmansia aurea

DESCRIPTION
From the Allies catalog:
This particular Brugmansia has white flowers and a strongly distinct frangrance. It is one of the higher elevation species with a very interesting medicinal background. Grown in the Valley of Sibundoy in Colombia and known throughout for its potent hallucinogenic properties. It has proven to be a curious plant in that at least 9 cultivars have evolved from it, each on having a native name and special qualities. One of the highly esteemed cultivars known as Culebra became a new geuns of the Solanaceae family referred to as Methysticodendron Amesianum. Professor Schultes made the new classification.
