Pasq. A small tree growing 10 to 12 feet tall with 16 inch long, ovate, downy leaves. The flowers are white, musky-scented, hanging, and about 10 inches long. The calyx splits down one side. The fruit is smooth, 2.5 inches long. Native to tropical America. May be distinguished from D. arborea by the extreme length of the leaves and from D. suaveolens by the calyx and the leaves. Cuttings root slowly.
